Dear Friends,

I'm back in Middle Tennessee for the August recess and look forward to seeing you around the 5th District. In Congress, we addressed several highly polarizing issues in recent weeks, including stem cell research.

I'm very disappointed at the President's decision to veto the bill to expand funding for this vital research. I want to hear what you think. Please send me an email or give my office a call at (615) 736-5295. Don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything my office can do for you.

Sincerely,
Jim Cooper
